Running daily dispatch+

1Open the dispatch dashboard at the start of the day to see all scheduled and unassigned jobs.
2Review unassigned jobs first — check priority, location, and any customer notes.
3Assign crew members based on availability, skill match, and route proximity.
4Track job status throughout the day as technicians update from the field.
5End of day: review completed jobs, flag any that need follow-up or billing action.

Sending customer updates+

1Navigate to the job you want to update the customer about.
2Choose a channel: WhatsApp, SMS, or email — based on the customer's preference.
3Compose your message manually, or use AI chat to draft one based on the current job status.
4Review the draft and approve before sending.
5The update is logged on the job timeline so your whole team has context.

Creating invoices and change orders+

1Open a completed or in-progress job and select "Create invoice" or "Create change order."
2Add line items with descriptions, quantities, and pricing.
3For change orders: note what changed from the original scope and why.
4Send for internal approval if your team uses approval workflows.
5Once approved, send directly to the customer through their preferred channel.

Using Novara AI chat+

1Open the AI chat from the command bar or sidebar.
2Describe the action you want to take in plain language — for example, "create a job for 123 Main St tomorrow morning."
3Review the proposed action: Novara shows exactly what it will do before executing.
4Confirm to execute, or edit the details before confirming.
5The action is logged with a full audit trail, just like any manual action.
